… as screamed by Maximus Decimus Meridius, played by Russel Crowe’s best role in the movie, Gladiator. Much like how in my earlier post I asked when about to embark on this trip was, “City of Entertainment? The real question is… ‘Will I be entertained?’“

And the verdict to that would be…

I WAS V-E-R-Y ENTERTAINED!

Introduction -
Welcome to the ‘Jewel of the Orient’, the ‘City of Entertainment’, the ‘Cloud City’, whatever you want to call it, it’s basically a world of it’s own; Genting Highlands (Malaysia). I’ll not bore you with the details of how high it is, or how big, even how fantastic it is, screw all the usual details, coz you can always get it from their official site.

No, my post today will be about what you folks missed out on. Yesh, I’m evil. Yesh, I’m being prudent and rubbing it in. But let’s face the facts:

You missed out on this.  (So  I’m being a bitch, deal with it. haha)

Stardate Thursday, 30th April, Captain’s Log -
Today I had arrived at 1Utama Shopping Mall. It was 10am, there were very little lifeforms. Had a Cinnabon and cup of coffee while updating my blog. It seemed strange?

I was early…

And while mooning around the shopping mall alone like a zombie straight out of DeadRising, I’ve managed to stumble upon a kopitiam inside 1Utama, nearby the entrance to meet Mr. Advertlets. Instead, I was greeted by some very familiar faces whom I’ve not seen in a very-very long while… In fact, they’ve probably forgotten how I looked with me changing my looks every few months. While mooning, I noticed Tim and Tammie while on the phone and just looked at them as they just stared at me blankly trying to comprehend why such a *ahem* funky guy like me is staring at them.

Haha, anyways, Mr. Josh got by and introduced everyone and we all~ joined in on one big table to have our breakfast. Or at least those who hasn’t had theirs yet.

So after all the introductory, name-card exchanging ceremony formalities were over (and the food as well), the troupe made our way to the bus terminal outside the shopping mall. And boy was it freakin’ hot.. geezz… Okay, maybe it’s also cause I was wearing a coat? Grah…

And while waiting, it friggin’ rained. No, it wasn’t the piss-water type of rain, it was the muthaf*ckin HUGE downpour of Cats & Dogs that just came and went before we could even say “Bwa-huh?” o.O?

While here’s looking at our ‘ride’; The Genting Express.

Damn.. does anyone got MTV’s number? This set of wheels’ needs some ’serious’ pimpin’.

So off we trouped onto the bus, grabbed our ‘free-seating’ seats and whipped out our DLSRs or Point-and-shoot cameras, trigger-happily snapping away while the humungo grundo vehicle trundled its way towards the City of Entertainment.

Meanwhile, on the inside of the rumbling beast, its lively innards were lovely camwhoring or just keeping themselves amused. Such as yours truly.

And like every trip on towards Genting, the bus ride was long, windy and gave us motion sickness/headaches. Towards 30mins into the journey, the lively, hustling, bustlin perps on the bus was reduced to zZz-ing people.

Thus end my ‘Rombongan Ke Kota Keriangan’ post up till we were in the bus. More to come. But before I end, here’s a look at our trip on the bus to Genting Highlands…
